WHY PLAN?

Reactive repairs close the doors. Planned ones do not.

A closed frame does not just cost an engineer. It costs the sessions you refund, the parties you cannot take, and the families who book somewhere else next weekend.

  1. Small sites

If the frame is the whole offer, one red finding takes the room out of use. Book the visit on a quiet weekday. That is cheaper than a Saturday of refunds and empty party rooms.

  2. Medium sites

High-traffic pads, nets and slides show wear months before the rest of the frame. Six-month inspections catch that while it is still an amber: quoted, scheduled, and open for play.

  3. Large and multi-site

Several frames means several ways to lose a Saturday. Quarterly visits, cleaning on the same agreement, and call-out cover keep sites moving without a scramble each time something fails.

Frequently asked questions

Is planned maintenance cheaper than waiting for a call-out?

Usually, yes. A reactive repair is not just the call-out fee. It is lost sessions, refunded parties and staff paid to stand in an empty venue. A planned visit is booked around your diary and catches wear before it becomes an emergency.

What is included in every maintenance visit?

Two service inspections a year at six-month intervals on the Recommended plan, eight man hours of general maintenance per visit, patching of exposed foam, netting repairs and retensioning, structural checks on slides and features, re-tying of eyelets, duck-down and step-over padding replacement, and void-area cleaning where time allows. You also receive a completed works report, an inspection certificate and a further-works quotation.

Do you only service House of Play equipment?

No. House of Play has inspected, repaired and maintained play equipment since 1994, including installations we did not originally complete. Coverage is nationwide and global.

How is the report scored?

Red means the equipment is unsafe for use and is fixed the same day or made safe within 24 hours. Amber is a warning, quoted and scheduled before it becomes urgent. Green is compliant: signed off and safe for play, with no action required.

What cleaning can you add?

Ball wash empties and sterilises the ball pool. A high-level clean covers netting, canopy and structure above normal safe reach. A deep clean is a full clean and antibacterial sterilisation of the soft play frame. These can sit on an agreement or be quoted as a one-off.
